Either gender. Twenties. non speaking extras for audition scene.
A short drama of about 5 minutes shot on digital. The finished film will be submitted to film festivals internationally.
It is the story of a breakdancer who has to overcome inner and outer obstacles to get into an audition for a streetdance crew and gives it his best shot only to find it is friendships that are the important thing in his life. It’s intended to be a positive message about beating preconceptions. Breakdancing will form the visual spectacle of the film as well as the major theme, some slow motion filming is planned for moments of heightened emotion in dance.
Shooting for 1-2 days in the fortnight commencing 29th March.
