Michael Lohan may have, allegedly, set a new record for mind-blowing scumminess.

We say ‘allegedly’, as we’re awaiting official verification that Michael is really the scum of the earth. We’re expecting that certified letter in the post, any day now.

There are some pretty breathtaking allegations being slung at Michael right now. Not that most of his deplorable and exploitative behaviour surprises us at this point. However, there’s one thing in particular that’s stuck in our craws. The accusation that Michael took pictures of half-naked ex-fiance Kate Major while she was passed out in bed, ones so NSFW and objectionable that we’re not even willing to link to them, and he sold them.

There are two or three of these pictures floating around online, as taken in April. The mind boggles as to why anyone would ever take them, let alone make them available to the public. Michael gave the following statement about Kate, saying:

“She has no money, no job and she’s been living off of me for the last 8 months… and her dad just cut her off. If she doesn’t stop the nonsense, more and more will come out. I am tired of being used and people who need to make up stories to make money off others. I have more important issues to deal with than Kate Major”.

Charming, excuse us while we go vomit in our mouths just a little. Just a little.

Major responded, with more composure and less expletives than we’re able to comprehend at the moment.

“Michael Lohan is a disgusting human being and father. He took these pictures of me when I was asleep and without my knowledge. At the time he was my fiancé. I have just found out about these images today and moving forward my lawyer, William O’Conner, will be handing the legalities of anyone that reproduces them.”

TMZ spoke to Michael, who denied selling the pictures and claimed the images were stolen.

Major was also approached by TMZ about the nude photos, Tuesday, with her arm in a sling after allegedly being thrown to the floor and kicked by Michael – oh yeah, he’s also an alleged woman-beater. She kept her cool, non-sweary head and said the pursuit of any legal action would be left up to her lawyer, and that she “never wanted any of this”.

What was your favourite Cheryl Cole moment from last year’s X Factor? The time she wouldn’t stop crying?

The dress made of spoons? The time she dressed up as a Space Nazi and sang that song about sticking with Ashley Cole? Well, cherish those moments because you might never see their kind again. Apparently, while she’s at home recovering from malaria, Cheryl Cole has grown paranoid that her stand-in – Nicole Scherzinger from the Pussycat Dolls – will replace her permanently.

Which is just dumb. After all, give Simon Cowell some credit. He’s not stupid enough to hire anyone as bland and superficially attractive as Nicole Scherzinger on a full-time basis. Although, now we come to mention it, he did hire Cheryl Cole, didn’t he? We’ve changed our mind – Cheryl should be bloody well cacking it.

It won’t have escaped your attention that Nicole Scherzinger – the one from the Pussycat Dolls who looks least like a middle-aged transvestite – has temporarily taken over Cheryl Cole’s X Factor duties while she’s on malaria leave. Papers have been full of the news – which is good, because otherwise we might not have noticed that one dead-eyed pop gonk has been replaced by an almost completely identical dead-eyed pop gonk – but it’s got Cheryl Cole worried.

If reports are to be believed, Cheryl is paranoid that Nicole is just as multi-talented as her – that she can say ‘yes’ and ‘no’ and wear uncomfortable-looking dresses and occasionally mime to a song onstage – that she’ll end up stealing her X Factor job forever. Metro reports:

Cheryl was hoping her Girls Aloud pal Kimberley Walsh could take her spot. A source said: ‘She (Cheryl) wanted to help her close friend get more airtime and thought she’d be a perfect stand in.  Now she’s terrified Nicole will replace her permanently.’… Friends of Cheryl told the magazine that they’re trying to calm her down so she doesn’t worry herself into a state.

What? Calm her down? Are you crazy? What has Cheryl Cole got to be calm about? Nicole Scherzinger is almost definitely going to steal her job. There’s only one thing for it – Cheryl has to forget about the malaria and rush back to work straight away. Yes, that might mean that several future episodes of X Factor would feature a shivering, sweating, hollow-eyed corpse-like figure covered in poo and sick who’s prone to sporadic tortured wails. But we can still remember when Sharon Osbourne was a judge, so it wouldn’t really be anything new.

This is kind of big news. Russian Vogue editor-in-chief Aliona Doletskaya–the woman who was rumored to be in line for Anna Wintour’s job–is leaving the magazine, according to LOVE’s Twitter.

Do we think Doletskaya is leaving for American Vogue? Doubtful. However, it does bring up that nagging question: When will Wintour retire? And who will replace her?

Candidates range from Glamour’s Cindi Leive–who, while not a fashion person, knows how to run a magazine–to Carine to Stefano (some believe W is an audition for Vogue.)

Wintour will turn 61 this year, which means she probably has another decade in her. But Grace Coddington turns 69–she’s probably much closer to hanging up her steam iron.

This young woman in her early 20s works in the breakfast van on the indsutrial estate. She enjoys a bit of banter with the lead character as she is bored in her job.

Tortoise is a graduation film exercise for the National Film and Television School.
The film is about a father and son who run an exotic pet wholesale business. They decide to import some endangered tortoises and things go very wrong. There are a number of interactions between the main characters and other supporting roles. We are casting for those important but minimal speaking parts. We’re really excited about the script and as one of the major centres for excellence for film teaching in the world we’re hoping it should be a really fun film to make.

Is a young girl, between 25 – 28. Clarice comes from a lower class family and has two elder brothers. She’s feisty and always defends her ground. She’s intelligent and likes to say things as they are. Her father used to work in construction and had an accident that prevented him from keeping his job. Clarice decided to drop out of college and got a job in a traveling agency to support herself and her family. She’s in a relationship with a guy who doesn’t really understand her and as a result to that, their communication breaks down quite often.
