Twelve months ago, Brockfield was the site of a particularly senseless murder. A sixteen year-old boy from the local further eduction college was stabbed to death in an unprovoked attack. The case is about to go to trial and although murder is a rarity, even in Brockfield, it seems to encapsulate the poor reputation the area has. The drama explores the devastating effect an event like this has on family, friends and a wider community.

Actors needed:
We are looking to audition for 15 new parts as per the breakdown below, to play alongside some smaller regular characters. Actors will need to be available as much as possible during the rehearsal and filming period and able to attend an audition at some time in the week commencing the 1st February. Actors in any role may have any accent - as the fictional location of Brockfield represents “any town”.

A wonderful role for an older actor, retired soldier Reg at first appears to be cantankerous, short tempered and unfriendly but forges an unlikely friendship with the young people on the estate as they work together to reopen the old dance hall where he and his late wife had success as a dance partnership.
